The series re-aired internationally through GMA Pinoy TV in 2005-2006 and its sister international network GMA Life TV in mid-2008-2009.

This was also the first of GMA's Primetime "Glossier" Telenovelas including Kung Mawawala Ka and Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin.

The love story revolves around two people: a wealthy man named Carlos Miguel Altamonte (Dingdong Dantes) who falls in love with poor barrio lass Cecilia Fulgencio (Tanya Garcia). The two fall in love and decide to marry. Because of lies and obsession, they are set apart by people with Gilbert (Eric Quizon) restoring Cecilia's identity and Olga (Maricar De Mesa) who plots her revenge on the couple. In the end will the lies and the love of the human heart restore the innocence and love back into everyone's hearts? Or will it ruin them?
