The Sandhila are a Muslim Jat gotra (clan), found in the Sindh and Punjab provinces of Pakistan.

History and origin

The Sandhila claim descent from their ancestor, Rai Sandhila, a Hindu Jat who came from the neighbourhood of Delhi, during the rule of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, and settled in Multan.[citation needed]
