SciStarter is an online collection of citizen science projects. It was founded by Darlene Cavalier and is a division of Science for Citizens LLC.

Awards

The organization received an award from the Knight Foundation's Prototype Fund.[1] SciStarter in collaboration with Arizona State University was awarded funding by the NSF to build SciStarter 2.0.[2]

Events

The organization announced with the Citizen Science Association its support of a newly established "Citizen Science Day" with the White House's Office of Science and Technology Policy to take place on April 16, 2016.[3]
