Mahmoud Abd El Razek 'Shikabala', Egyptian soccer player, born 5 March 1986 in Aswan, Egypt. He is currently wearing the colors of El Zamalek where he started his football career. He is also a previous player of PAOK, the major Greek football club of Thessaloniki. Shikabala plays a free role usually in the upper midfield and bears the shirt number 18. His pace, skills, passing and finishing attracted many clubs in Egypt and Europe, but he had to return to Egypt for his military duties so he chose his old club Zamalek and quickly became the club's number one star. His height is 1.81 metres and his weight is 73 kilograms.

Shikabala officially belongs to FC PAOK Thessaloniki, but he plays for Al-Zamalek. FC PAOK and Al-Zamalek have an argument about Shikabala and they expect for FIFA decision on this matter. Zamalek was to pay PAOK FC 990,000 euros if they wanted to keep the player.

On July 23rd 2007 Shikabala was banned from representing the egyptian national team for one year. This decision is based on the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) due to ‘inappropriate behaviour’ during the 2007 All African Games. Rumours have risen concerning the player's future that he has contacted his old club PAOK Thessaloniki to return and play for the 2007-2008 Greek SuperLeague, but did not.

In May of 2008, Shikabala was included in the provisional squad to represent Egypt in its qualifications matches for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, South Africa 2010.
