This is a list of active ships of the Brazilian Navy, complete and correct as of 2018. The Navy has approximately 134 ships in commission, including 39 auxiliary ships. 8 frigates/corvettes, 7 conventional attack submarines and 1 helicopter carrier.

During the naval Battle of Riachuelo, it ran under the batteries of the strong enemies, having to be left by the crew. Not being able to get away from the beach, it was burned by the crew.
