SignaFresh is a brand of a natural phospholipid based on lysophosphatidylethanolamine (LPE), a biopesticide approved by US EPA.

Lysophosphatidylethanolamine (LPE) is active ingredient of SignaFresh. LPE is much insoluble in water so that it is too hard to apply to agricultural use. SignaFresh is a product that is made under LPE technology to handle easily in use. With a pre-harvest spray of product, the agro products get benefits such as increased size, improved pack out, enhanced color and longer shelf life.[1]

It is used with tomatoes, peppers, grapes, cranberry, cherries, and oranges for increasing color, sugar contents and their storage life.[2][3]
