Slingshot is a two-player game set in a two-dimensional field of planets in space. Each player controls a spaceship, one on each side of the screen, and the goal is to successfully shoot the other. The players are encouraged to use as little power as possible (using gravitational slingshots to achieve this) by the scoring system which deducts points for using more power. Slingshot is a graphical update to the popular classic game Gravity Wars.
Network play and a C++ rewrite are planned for version 1.0.
