Slugline is a minimal distraction-free screenwriting app for Mac OS X. The concept behind Slugline is to keep the app simple so screenwriters can focus on the writing.[1] It natively uses Fountain, the plain-text markup language, to automatically format a screenplay to Hollywood screenplay standards.[2]
It supports integrated outlining, notes, and omitted text, both the Courier and Courier Prime fonts, and also includes structure templates such as the beat sheet from Blake Snyder's Save the Cat!.[3]
