Somajiguda started as a peaceful residential locality. But slowly has transformed into a modern business centre in Hyderabad, Telangana India. Popular landmarks are Yashoda hospital, Roots International School of Business Management and Raj Bhavan road. Somajiguda has gained importance because of its proximity to city centres such as Begumpet, Punjagutta and Khairtabad.

Automobile sales stores for Honda, Skoda etc. are located here. The only BOSE music store in the city is located here. Private Hospitals such as Yashoda operate from this area. Hotels such as Fortune Katriya and others are located here. Real estate is on the rise with newer structures coming up in this area.
