"Strong" was a political advertisement issued by the Texas Governor Rick Perry presidential campaign in December 2011 for the 2012 Republican Party presidential primaries.

The ad was targeted to American Christian, socially conservative voters.[1] It raised controversy for addressing gays in the military and religion in public schools.[2] The video went viral, inspiring a number of parodies.[3] During the primaries, it became the second most-disliked video on YouTube,[4] and is the third most-disliked video as of April 2013, behind the music videos for "Baby" by Justin Bieber and "Friday" by Rebecca Black.
