Susan E. Sheskey is a General Partner at Daylight Partners, a venture capital firm. Ms. Sheskey also serves on the boards of StoredIQ (a technology solution provider for managing compliance information) and Digby (a mobile eCommerce platform).
Ms. Sheskey served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Dell Inc. until retiring from the company in 2007. As CIO, she was responsible for Dell’s global information systems and technology infrastructure. Prior to becoming CIO, Ms. Sheskey served as Vice President of Information Technology for the Dell’s Americas Region.[citation needed]
Before joining Dell in 1993, Ms. Sheskey held key planning, development and operational roles at Ameritech Corporate, Ameritech Services and Ohio Bell. She is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Ms. Sheskey also serves on technology and business advisory boards at Texas A&M University and Miami University. She was recognized by eWeek in 2007 as one of the Top 10 Most Powerful Women in Technology,[citation needed] and by Diversity Journal as a Women Worth Watching for 2006.[citation needed]
