Tale of Fairy[1] (Hangul계룡선녀전; RRGyeryongsunnyeojeon; lit. Tale of Gyeryong Fairy) is an ongoing 2018 South Korean television series starring Moon Chae-won, Yoon Hyun-min, Seo Ji-hoon and Kang Mi-na. It is based on the popular webtoon of the same title by Dol Bae which was first published via Naver Webtoon in 2017. The series started airing on tvN from November 5, 2018.[2][3][4]

Synopsis[edit]

Story of a 699-year-old fairy who has lived since the Koryeo dynasty, but has lost her wings and thus unable to ascend to heaven. In the modern time, she works as a barista and meets two potential reincarnations of her former husband, who died after accidentally falling down a cliff.

A 699-year old fairy who currently works as a barista, and has a special ability to talk to plants. She appears outwardly as an old woman, but only few can see her true youthful beauty.
A biology professor. One of Ok-nam’s potential husband reincarnation.
A graduate student at the Lee Won University, Department of Biology. Another one of Ok-nam’s potential husband reincarnation. He has the ability to read the animals thought.
Daughter of Sun Ok-nam, who is in reality a tiger who evolved into a human through training. She is also secretly a writer of steamy fiction.
