Justin Bieber[edit]

Justin Bieber, in case there is any doubt, has not received this award. This article is now semi-protected for a few days to prevent IP editors from trying to insert that material. Jusdafax 15:03, 1 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Justin Bieber has won the "Diamond Award" for the single "Baby" who has reached 12 million copies sold --Eternalnem (talk) 16:15, 3 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Justin Bieber has not reached 100 million albums, and has not received this award --Arianator2013 (talk)

Justin Bieber's "Diamond Award" is from the RIAA, which issued diamond certification for digital sales of his song "Baby". It is not an award from the World Music Awards and not a Chopard Diamond award. Teammm talk

  • I've reverted it again just now, and it has needed reverting several times recently. Back to semi-protection, I guess. Jusdafax 04:56, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Article semi-protection for one year[edit]

Due to repeated attempts to add Justin Bieber's name to the list of recipients of the award, IP's will not be able to edit this article for the next year. IP's who wish to add material to the article may make an edit request here, but be aware that requests to add Mr. Bieber or anyone else will not be honored without reliable referencing. Please read the above section re: the other Diamond Award won by Bieber, which is often confused with this one. Thanks. Jusdafax 06:24, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Number of awardees[edit]

In the 'Ceremony' section, the article says 'Overall, five solo musicians and two bands have received the Chopard Diamond award', then in the very next sentence, it says 'To date only 6 artists have won this award:(...)'. Is it me missing something, or should 'five solo musicians' be changed to four? Thanks AstroFizzy (talk) 13:44, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
