Industrial Music?[edit]

Any objection to adding a section related to Industrial music? The genre became more mainstream during the decade. Surv1v4l1st (Talk|Contribs) 01:57, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress[edit]

Worldwide View of Introduction Section[edit]

The introduction section reads like it was written by someone in Europe. In America, 80's music is commonly associated with 80's rock (80's soft rock in some parts of the country) and there is no mention of rock at all in there. I feel like the intro section only represents a European view. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.110.5.124 (talk) 07:23, 13 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The introduction was too long and was written poorly ("80's music" is a broad term...). It is much better to keep the introduction short and only elaborate on the most notable singers/bands/trends of the decade in the rest of the article. TheCuriousGnome (talk) 03:56, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
On the contrary, the lead section was better than your version and is supposed to summarize the article. See Wikipedia:Lead section. Please stop removing constructive edits.98.110.10.24 (talk) 02:05, 16 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
