Article assessment[edit]

I have rated this article as stub class because of the relatively short length and as low importance because there is little to distinguish it from other articles about television series. --Opark 77 15:31, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

DVD[edit]

Is it available on DVD? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.113.108.105 (talk) 02:34, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No official release to date. Only related items are the two novels based on episodes. MopyNZ (talk) 11:21, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Memorable TV Show[edit]

IMHO, one of the more memorable UK TV shows from the 70s, and unfortunately never repeated, or available for purchase. Those familiar with UK politics from the 60s and 70s will get a lot more from this show, thus it is a little topical. The UK had to bailed out by the IMF in the early 70s, mostly with US money. One of the conditions was that the UK scrap a lot of its military/RAF aircraft production, and use US aircraft instead. The union control is a reference to the two governments of Harold Wilson (65-70, 75-80) both of which were notorious (IMHO) for nepotism with labour union organisers, and particularly only unions strongly allied with the Labour Party. The show was probably never repeated because of suspected political bias. Sigma-t (talk) 06:01, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
