Disappointingly short[edit]

Surprising that such a major and dramatic event would have such a short English Wikipedia page. The "Use in media" section almost looks misplaced here next to ... pretty much nothing else. The Farsi page seems to be much more complete. https://fa.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D8%B2%D9%85%DB%8C%D9%86%E2%80%8C%D9%84%D8%B1%D8%B2%D9%87_%DB%B1%DB%B3%DB%B6%DB%B9_%D8%B1%D9%88%D8%AF%D8%A8%D8%A7%D8%B1_%D9%88_%D9%85%D9%86%D8%AC%DB%8C%D9%84. Would be great to have a Native speaker give it a shot.

Even looking only at available English language sources, there is a wealth of information available. Something to add to my "to do list" - not sure when I'll get round to that though. Mikenorton (talk) 08:46, 1 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

FIFA World Cup[edit]

Why has FIFA World Cup entry been deleted while it had a source? Even if the reverter thought the earthquake wasn't one of the reasons for high number of deaths they could edit that section and just delete parts saying that. But they could remain the parts that said the earthquake happened during a World Cup match as a fact. Aminabzz (talk) 11:00, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
