Species[edit]

Do we know which species is/ are involved? Does the image depict a/the relevant species? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 13:04, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I managed to track down the species name and have switched the pic accordingly. this appropriately licensed picture appears to be the correct species, is more recent, and is from Madagascar, but I can't say for sure since I am not a biologist. --ThaddeusB (talk) 20:31, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New Section[edit]

I think the last paragraph of the Pest Control section should be made its own section. The comparisons to the plagues of Egypt have nothing to do with pest control. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.77.204.217 (talk) 14:10, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it for now. It also has some original research element as it was written and how it was linked. --Malerooster (talk) 19:10, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

Why has this article been moved from 2013 Madagascar locust plague? The fact that it is regarded as a plague is noted and cited in the lede. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 15:16, 30 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

User:David Levy moved this and two similar articles to "infestation", so you'll have to ask him. --ThaddeusB (talk) 02:49, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
