It is, I think, worth noting that Wales were one of the five hosts of the 1991 Rugby world cup. A tournament in which they failed to progress to the knock-out stages, making England the second nation to do so, in 2015. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.32.157.4 (talk) 12:44, 23 February 2016 (UTC)
Singular v Plural
[edit]There is a lack of consistency in the use of plural/singular for teams. Strictly speaking, Australia (for example) is singular, however, common usage is for it to be treated as a plural noun: Australia were beaten by New Zealand in the RWC final. However, the article variously and inconsistently treats the teams as plural or singular. FunkyCanute (talk) 11:48, 5 November 2015 (UTC)

Wrong link
[edit]In the Quarter-finals section, the link to the report of the match between South Aftrica and Wales does not seem to point to a report of that match. Perhaps someone who knows their way round could check it and find a better link. Thanks. --Frans Fowler (talk) 02:01, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
