T20Is

[edit]

@Lugnuts and Bs1jac: According to ICC calendar, two T20I matches are scheduled to take place between PNG and Namibia after this tournament at the very same venue. Should they be added in this article or a separate article should be formed? Human (talk) 05:08, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I've gone for the pragmatic option, and added it here. Compare it with this series, which had the same set-up, albeit T20 matches first, followed by three 50-over matches. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 07:10, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I think the way Lugnuts has done it makes sense. Bs1jac (talk) 07:25, 14 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
These aren't happening now. The Cricinfo scorecards are dead, there's no live-feed from USA Cricket and various Namibian cricketers have thanked the USA for their hospitality stating that the next stop is the ICC T20 Qualifers. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 18:04, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
That's weird. Human (talk) 20:09, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
That is weird! Disappointing too. Bs1jac (talk) 21:41, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed! However, the only mention I could find of it prior to the scorecards being added to CI and the ICC site was from CI (ref #8 in this article) that stated "The two visiting countries also have tentative plans to play one or two T20Is at the Florida venue after the ODI series, as part of their own preparations for the T20 World Cup Qualifier, before flying back home." That was dated 4th August. Oh well. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 06:49, 25 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
