Criticism[edit]

Here's a few links to stories that raise criticisms of the ALS Association. Questions about the ice bucket challenge Most interestingly, the ALS Association got $19 million in their last reported year, but only spent $6.6 million in research. New book written on ALS by a man named Jeff Lester[edit]

The book has great insight on what it’s like to has ALS. My sister died of it. I wish I would have had this book when she was diagnosed. It was so helpful. It’s called, “Living as a Dead Man” by Jeff Lester from missouri. He’s had ALS for 25 years now. He was told to go home and get his life in order the way he wants them because he wasn’t expected to live but 3-5 years. It’s on amazon now!!
