Promotional issues

[edit]

Someone with a Rhode Island IP has been making some problematic promotional edits to the page. KSFT has twice reverted. I'm noticing that even in the old version there are some issues to address. I'm going to move some content here, rearrange, etc.

For example, this list of musical performances. Thousands of artists have played at AS220. Why are these significant. Some of them are big names, but many, many big names have played there. Why have whole sentence bulletpoints rather than a basic list of notable performers. Copying the content here before stripping it down just in case someone has a different idea. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 00:03, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Update: I think the promotional content/language is now gone. I've added a number of sources, reorganized, and developed the history section quite a bit. Still not sure what to do with the above bulletpoints and need more sources for the "Programs and facilities" section, but it's looking quite a bit better. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 03:50, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
