The name and location of the palace[edit]

The original Polish name uses the word for abbot in plural (Pałac Opatów) therefore the correct English translation should be Abbots' Palace as opposed to Abbot's Palace.

Since 1 July, 1926 [1] Oliwa is a district of the city of Gdańsk (vide: List of neighbourhoods of Gdańsk) and not a separate entity, so logically, for the purpose of the English Wikipedia, the location of the palace in this and related articles (such as this section) should be given as Gdańsk. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.220.248.78 (talk) 16:28, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
