Acting on behalf of Accuride International Inc., I wish to update the information on the following page:

I am responsible for the generation of the written information for the company and I am signed up as an editor for Wikipedia. I have reviewed the guidelines for posting information and understand the requirement that the information be factual and unbiased.

One aspect that is outdated and incorrect is the number of employees. Accuride International is a global company and the article cited in the current version, dates back to 2002 and I believe that figure (500) was referring to only one of the company locations; likely where the HR Director, Bob Morris was located.

The following is the updated article I am proposing. Any assistance on this would be welcomed. I know the mark up and formatting may need some work. At this point, I'm looking for approval or guidance on content.

Accuride International

Accuride Corporation (Indiana), an unrelated company, is a manufacturer of vehicle wheels.

Accuride International Inc. is a manufacturer of slide products for commercial, residential, and industrial applications,[1] based in Santa Fe Springs, California, USA, with locations in North America, Europe, and Asia. Globally, the company has about 1500 employees.[2] It had a manufacturing plant in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, which closed in 2001 with the loss of 150-200 jobs.[3] Accuride is a well-known maker of drawer slides among woodworkers, and is particularly known for its full-extension slides.[4] Accuride holds dozens of patents in drawer slide technology.[5] The company's slide products are found in furniture and cabinetry, major appliances, electronic enclosures, automobiles and utility vehicles, and industrial equipment and machinery. [6]

History Accuride began as a small tool and die shop founded by Fred Jordan in 1962 in South Gate, California. The company produced slides for tape drives and copy machines. Today, Accuride has more than one million square feet of manufacturing space in six locations around the world.[6]
