Is there some connection with Halle, Belgium? --Zik2 (talk) 20:58, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Guys, where the fuck are the citations in this article? Only 2 citations? How am I suppose to find the sources to: "His father, Henri de la Halle, was a well-known Citizen of Arras, and Adam studied grammar, theology, and music at the Cistercian abbey of Vaucelles, near Cambrai. Father and son had their share in the civil discords in Arras, and for a short time took refuge in Douai."

Since you ask so nicely: "This article incorporates text from a publication now in the public domain: Chisholm, Hugh, ed (1911). Encyclopædia Britannica (11th ed.). Cambridge University Press." It is not easy to discover this citation, since it requires reading past the middle of the article. Have a nice day.—Jerome Kohl (talk) 17:26, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
