Runoko Rashidi is an Indian studies scholar, he specifically studies African descendants in India. For Sup=one to say because he studies a specific minority in India it means he is not an Indian studies scholar is nonsense.--MsTingaK (talk) 05:04, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I would also like to add that most of the contents on this page are well sourced, but it may not consist of the Indian history that people inside or outside of India are normally taught but the sourced material is from books that specifically deal with this group as opposed to 'what is commonly believed'. --MsTingaK (talk) 05:11, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: Moved to Afro-Asians in South Asia per Lemongirl942. Ethnic group articles generally use plural, and "in South Asia" provides the necessary context. No such user (talk) 09:03, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Comment I'm curious about this as well. "Afro-Asians in South Asia" or "Afro-Asians (South Asia)" seem OK. Let me look for more references first. I found this which terms the people "Afro-Asian" and "Indo-African". --Lemongirl942 (talk) 02:50, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
