Too vague?[edit]

This article is hopelessly vague. Every airport in the world collects some sort of charge from its passengers. The list is apparently trying to collect those that make the passengers pay it (or part of it) in cash, but it's not up to date and most of those that do (eg. all Indonesian airports) don't call it an "Airport Improvement Fee". Content[edit]

This article intends to explain

a) the Airport Improvement Fee (charged by a business or a goverment),
b) the Passenger Service Charge for using an airport (charged by a business) - maybe plus a security charge (charged by a business or a goverment), and
c) the departure tax for leaving a country (charged by the government).
I'd like to see two additional articles (for b and c) or a renaming towards "Passenger charges in aviation" or something like that. --Scriberius (talk) 16:51, 17 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
