Expansion of article[edit]

Thanks to encouragement from Rosiestep and Dr. Blofeld, I thought I'd expand the article a bit. I just finished and put all my edits up. We're up to 98 references instead of 7. Please add information where needed and make this the best article on Wikipedia! Mvblair (talk) 20:16, 16 May 2014 (UTC)

Picture aesthetics[edit]

I'm a little bit of the opinion that as it is now, there are a lot of pictures at the top of the article that serve as more of a gallery than addendums to the text. Would there be any objections to moving some of them (the Sarchi oxcart, the Guatusos map, and perhaps the two Arenal photos) down to the gallery section? Mvblair (talk) 00:31, 17 May 2014 (UTC)

GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose, no copyvios, spelling and grammar): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
    Spelling seems fine but some sentences should be rewording;
  1. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (reference section): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
This link seems unreliable, please replace it with another reliable source. Other links looks fine. Plus the Climate section should be cite with a reference together with the climate table source which should be put like this: Source: Weatherbase.
    This also need source :
  1. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
Focus to the topic, length also normal.
  2. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
The sentence looks neutral for me.
  3. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
    Very stable, no edit wars.
  4. It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free content have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
    Looks fine, no copyright notice.
  5. Overall: The article looks good, but there is some issues need to be settled. I give the nominator a time to fix up these issues and after that I will decide whether it is pass or failed.
Alright, seems there is no response from the nominator after a week. I decided to close it as failed. Feel free to nominate it again in the next time when the issues has been settled. ;) ~ Muffin Wizard ;) 16:31, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
