This was nominated for speedy deletion on notability grounds. A Google search for Alan Clayson shows 64,600 Google hits see [1]. Galenet's Contemporary Authors Online has him listed. Allmusic.com has an entry albeit rudimentary. Encyclopedia Britannica's article on Roy Orbison lists his book as further reading. In short, he seems notable enough to survive speedy deletion and I would vote to keep in Articles for Deletion. It does however badly need wikification and NPOV.
