I don't know specifically what parts of this article need to be made clearer so I'm gonna try to make it follow the B article guide but any help would be great. MrMacMan 00:59, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

Poorly worded sentence?

Currently, the first sentence in the Founding the United Federation of Teachers section has this: "Shanker took a year off after graduating from college and taught mathematics at an East Harlem school from 1952 to 1959." So the year he took off lasted for seven years? __209.179.21.156 (talk) 02:14, 14 February 2015 (UTC)

I don't know about the subject, bus I guess he took a year off in 1951, and then taught from 1952-59? Joseph2302 (talk) 11:37, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
