Neither he nor his father is a Prince. That's a fact so please, do not add those titles to their names here in Wikipedia.
Yes, their forefathers were recognised as princes (based on a 17th-century creation by the Holy Roman Emperor; the Empire itself was dissolved in 1806!) by such realms as the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the Russian Empire but those countries no longer exist and their successor states abolished and/or no longer recognise titles of nobility. Yes, nobility exists in the United Kingdom, of which Alexi is a subject but again, "his" title of prince is not recognised within this realm so legally he cannot use it. To sum up, his claim to the title of Prince, based on the princely rank which his family held in the past, is not recognised in any of the existing countries.
