Translation of technical term[edit]

Can we find an alternative translation, or perhaps an explanation, better still a wikilinked article for (عرفان) . Gnosticism is usually used to refer to pre-Christian (thus pre-Muslim) beliefs that were incorporated into some versions of Christianity. Itsmejudith (talk) 09:18, 12 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
