Shouldn't Eugena have her own page?[edit]

She is arguably one of the most succesful out of the non winners with Jael Strauss, Ann Markley and Elyse.

I think Melrose needs her own page now[edit]

All the other Runner-ups have one, plus she's walked in two shows for fashion week, appeared in a catalog, and is designing for a clothing line. I'd say she's proved her notability.

She has a page now. yipeeeee —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smartie.Pantz4 (talkcontribs) 23:28, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

Whoever put that Elimination, should take it all off. And then put it back up!

Post-op Transsexual[edit]

Is it true what was posted about Monique being a post-op transsexual? It seems very questionable(and made me laugh I admit).

No, that would be Coryn from last season. Or, so the blogosphere says. I'm not buying it. On the venerable blog,, Monique has been likened to Salacious Crumb of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi fame. I say this is an accurate connection, given Salacious' favorite pasttimes...(i.e. "hearing the screams")

YES the contestants are REAL. Here's proof: Lil Flip246 23:34, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

woah why was the callout order table deleted? it was correct and i thought it was kinda cool since all other seasons had one. I'm gonna re-enter it in. ~~ ok... since someone seriously doesnt like the idea then we shall leave it as it is then :)

ON the episode AJ is elimated she was also cotw not Caridee —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 22:49, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Trivia on contestants' ages[edit]

I have deleted the trivia in question, as I have doubts about how it is arrived at.

There are few details on the contestants' exact ages and so I suspect it is done using the rounded ages as supplied by the show/network, in which case it's pretty meaningless. [User:Ohconfucius|Ohconfucius]] 06:21, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

I think it would be cool to have a chart like project runway so you can just put the order in a neat table. I will put it so if you don't like it, get rid of it but it would make me sad :(

First cycle with two lesbians?[edit]

Apparently not. Kim Stolz of cycle 5 recently revealed on that from that cycle, Nik Pace and another unidentified model are also lesbians. -- TrojanMan 23:12, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

CariDee, not Caridee[edit]

The opening credits spell it as "CariDee."

How come model's names redirect to this article?[edit]

How come the links with the model's names redirect to this article? Are you telling me no one can be bothered to create articles for each ANTM contestant in this Cycle? -- Jalabi99 11:09, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

  • Many pages of ANTM contestants have been deleted per AfD consensus. In some cases, they have been replaced by redirects also per same. Until they have solid achievements further to their appearances, they should not be recreated. Ohconfucius 04:03, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
  • The contestants section has been made linkless for now, as they create circular double-redirects otherwise. If these contestants' pages get reactivated, the links may be reinstated. I recommend leaving them as they are otherwise. Ohconfucius 10:03, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

WTF happens ?[edit]

The review of today's episode is under vandalism...

Reason for Elimination[edit]

Is there a reason for keeping that section? It seems pretty worthless, not to mention unencyclopedic. Elcda0 17:11, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Monique's Elimination[edit]

The color should NOT be gray for Monique. She wasn't eliminated because she didn't do the photoshoot. She was eliminated because the judges thought that she didn't want it enough. I'm gonna change the color back to red. Zaque 24 17:10, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

  • I think what it means is just highlighting the fact that she did not participate, and got eliminated that same episode, not stating that it was the CAUSE of her elimination. Anna from cycle 2 was eliminated because she gave a bad excuse for exempting herself from the photoshoot, not because of the act itself. Just a thought though.

The Girl Who Grates[edit]

In Barcelona, the models' nerves are wearing thin. After a Flamenco photo shoot challenge, Melrose breaks down in tears when her dancing is criticized. In unlikely pairs, the models float in a pool of icy water as Tyra directs their photo shoot, but CariDee must bow out of the shoot early as hypothermia begins to set in.

That's the new episode summary for this upcoming week's episode.

Any predictions by the way?

didn't know how to make new post but who keeps on putting up ANTM winner as Melrose or CariDee I want CariDee to win but the episode hasn't even aired yet so they're obviously faking, CariDee rox! Do not worry caridee won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thebritishcanadian 17:09, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

Please erase the part where it says the "results" of the last episode. It hasnt been on yet so it is not possible someone knows, and even if they do, it is unfair for people to have everything spoiled just like that...

Pauvale 03:35, 4 December 2006 (UTC)Pau*

You need to be clearer about what you want changed. The word "results" doesn't appear in the article. —Doug Bell talk 04:57, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
Quite. There are no results fgiven for the last episode of the series, and there is a spoiler warning. Rich Farmbrough, 16:12 4 December 2006 (GMT).

AMERICAS NEXT TOP MODEL ROCKS! Anyways.....CARIDEE is the best ever and Melrose sux, but i wish brooke would have won

Episode Summaries[edit]

Can someone make a table for the episode summaries?

What happened to Cycle 6 transformation, i am confused... YuRiPa 20:27, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

  • CONTAINS SPOILER FOR FOLLOWING CYCLE WINNER, NEEDS EDITING. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 12:09, August 28, 2007 (UTC)

incorrect math[edit]

I've corrected the callout averages, but my edits were reverted. I think the results in the article are incorrect.

Melrose's callouts: 1, 12, 1, 6, 4, 2, 4, 2, 1, 2, and 1. These numbers total 36, for an average of 3.27.

CarrieDee's callouts; 11, 2, 6, 9, 1, 4, 2, 1, 5, 3, and 3. These numbers total 47, for an average of 4.27.

Eugena's callouts: 4, 10, 8, 10, 2, 6, 7, 5, 2, 1, and 2. These numbers total 57, for an average of 5.18.

Without comment, User:CrossingGuard reverted the article to give scores of 3.36, 3.36, and 5.09 (respectively). How can these scores possibly be accurate? -- Mikeblas 04:53, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

I believe callouts do not include the first "entry into the final" callout, because that's random. In addition, you didn't include the final callout (from when Eugena was eliminated). 2+6+9+1+4+2+1+5+3+3+1/11 = 3.36 = CariDee. 12+1+6+4+2+4+2+1+2+1+2/11 = 3.36 = Melrose. 10+8+10+2+6+7+5+2+1+2/10 = 5.3 = Eugene. HOWEVER (and this is a big however), we really don't have any proof that Tyra calls them out in order of performance, although getting called out first is the best, apparently. Thus...well, it's just statistics. They might even be baseless. SKS2K6 05:12, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
I didn't include those because the page says "(excluding semifinals and the last judging panel)". Did I skip the wrong set of numbers? -- Mikeblas 05:26, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
The "episode 1" callout, in which Melrose was first, was the last semifinal callout. Although it was the first hour of the two-hour premiere, it is called Episode 1 (because according to the CW, it counts as a two-episode premiere). SKS2K6 06:16, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
Oh, and I believe the last callout is when Melrose and Caridee were final two. SKS2K6 06:17, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the explanation! If these are random as you suggest, why are they included in the chart? Is this curious definition of "semifinals" widely understood? -- Mikeblas 12:44, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
The chart states: In episode 1, the pool of 21 girls was reduced to 13 who moved on to the main competition. However, this first call-out does not reflect their performance that first week. That's all I know. Like I said earlier, there's honestly no proof that Tyra calls them out from best to worst. She hinted that the first call out equals the best. And the last person is obviously the one kicked off. But in between...who knows? That's why I think many of the ANTM statistics on both wiki pages are pointless, or perhaps even wrong. SKS2K6 22:50, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
I thought I did the math right. I guess I got it wrong with Eugena, but I got it right with CariDee and Melrose. I added the "excluding semi-finals and final judging" thing to try and tell people that the first call-outs and the finals were not included. I guess that didn't really work. CrossingGuard 08:48, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

The Transformation Season[edit]

Up at the very top of the page, it says this:

America's Next Top Model, Cycle 7 aka the transformation season started airing on September 20, 2006 as the first to be aired on The CW network.

I am pretty sure that Cycle 7 is not the transformation season. If I'm not mistaken, that was Cycle 6's theme. But at the top of Cycle 6's page, it says it's the fairy tale season. I was thinking the theme for this cycle was something along the lines of "Hot Stuff" because that was the song that was playing during the first commercials. But I know that I'm wrong. So does anyone know what the theme is for Cycle 7? Thanks in advance. CrossingGuard 08:58, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

The Theme of the season is "Glamour"

Megg's last name[edit]

I heard it was Turano, not Morales. What do you guys think? I think there's a better chance that Turano is her last name because Morales is most likey a Hispanic last name, and she's not (or at least doesn't look like) a Hispanic. CrossingGuard 09:17, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Half the article is written in present tense, with the rest in past tense. Can someone choose one and fix accordingly? An article like this shouldn't have both tenses, especially as all the episodes have concluded.SKS2K6 07:45, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Megan's age[edit]

Megan is 23 years old instead of 22. It is said that she's 23 in the official website. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hermeslover (talkcontribs) 09:13, 3 March 2007 (UTC).

I just signed up, so I can't edit but "dumb blonde" is spelt "dumb blone" at one point.

New Callout Order - NEW STUFF ADDED[edit]

I Just added some new stuff to the Call Out Box - ConverGirl Of The Week etc. Grateful if it stays like that. unsigned comment was added by NnnxAlex (talkcontribs) 03:42, 18 Apirl 2007 (GMT).

I changed the bit that refers to J. Alexander being deressed as the corpse bride in the final episode and deleted the link to the Tim Burton movie, as he wore a black dress and as far as I could see made absolouty no reference to the movie The Corpse Bride. If anyone feels I am wrong please correct me, but I see no reference at all except he was meant to be ghostly, as were all the models. The Neverdoll 09:46, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

For the bit about what Michelle and Amanda are up to now, it shouldn't say "whom had been represented." It's "who had been represented," because they're not the object of the verb, they're the subject, even though it's in passive voice. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs)

What is Integrity?[edit]

I am very interested to know what Tara would interpret as Integrity . Watching the living tv americas next top model she said she doesnt pose nude but wears a g string and it is air brushed out As a role model for her youngsters T camps HOW can she really belive that Shannon and Robyn are wrong for not wanting to pose nude even if it is done in a to taras mind a sensative way. The fact of the matter is the shots chosen had very little to do with Diamonds and a lot to do with the nudity of the models and their body shape SORRY Tara but your integrity to my mind and many other would be in question. Are you are a role model to young teenagers If so this issue needs to give you some more thought I applaud Shannon and Robyn for having the Guts to stand by True Principles and not fooling themselves. tThis is true integrity to my mind Dunes777 12:45, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Love Pyramid[edit]

Anchal's book cover was actually titled "Love Pyramid," not "Pyramid." It's just a small error, no biggie. I think it's meant to be a play on the idea of a love-triangle. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 17:44, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

Babin twins[edit]

the article states that michelle was eliminated first but when i watched it

i knew it was amanda

please correct your article —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 09:51, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

you're wrong michelle was first —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kelvinng90 (talkcontribs) 10:29, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Why can't we edit this cycle??????!!!!!!![edit]

Those callout averages are wrong and the episode summaries need work dude!!!!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smartie.Pantz4 (talkcontribs) 18:52, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

It's only semi-protected, and I assume it's because of vandalism. If you want, you can request unprotection, or just wait a few days and then you'll be able to edit. Eatcacti 19:00, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

We really need to edit this cycle,as soon as it's possible. The whole page is a mess.

why is it protected the cycle is over now?

It's protected until the 21st of the month. And {{editprotected}} isn't the proper procedure for requesting unprotection. Od Mishehu 08:44, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

Something is correct[edit]

in the callout order AJ was called first 2 times in a row!

I think it is noteworthy that Tyra Banks quoted Anchal's failed challenge (dance aggressively) as the "weirdest exit in America's Next Top Model ever since Jade!"(where they even showed a flashback scene of Jade Cole's flamboyant bowing as she was eliminated)

Centralized TV Episode Discussion[edit]

Over the past months, TV episodes have been redirected by (to name a couple) TTN, Eusebeus and others. No centralized discussion has taken place, so I'm asking everyone who has been involved in this issue to voice their opinions here in this centralized spot, be they pro or anti. Discussion is here [1]. Even if you have not, other opinions are needed because this issue is affecting all TV episodes in Wikipedia. --Maniwar (talk) 03:05, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Eugena Washington has also done a campaign for Custo Barcelona 2008, the cust website european site you can see her! —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 04:23, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

Brooke's Graduation[edit]

The episode, The Girl Who Graduates aired in October, when Brooke would've just started her senior year of high school, or she would've started her freshman year of college. How would she have graduated that early in the year? Graduation isn't until like June. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 20:45, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

The episode aired in October, but it was probably filmed in May.CariDee said in an interview, that the last episode of the cycle was filmed at the end of June. So,Brooke was eliminated during May,because an episode in U.S.A lasts for a week and outside the country for 3-4 days.If Brooke was eliminated at the end of May,then Anchal was sent home at the beginning of June and the rest of the girls went to Barcelona,Spain.

Why there's no photo shoot guide in the article?[edit]

Why the ANTM cycle articles do have the photo shoot guide, Does C7 doesn't have a photo shoot guide in this article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 00:21, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

I haven't watched cycle 8 yet, and now all the fun has been taken out because I know who the winner is. I wouldn't have read the wiki had I known it was full of BIG FAT SPOILERS.

Can someone put some spoiler alerts on these things? Sheesh. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 06:54, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

Recap Episode[edit]

The recap episode is Episode 7, but at the call-out order table Episode 7 is mistaken for Episode 8. Someone should fix this. (talk) 12:19, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Elimination table.[edit]

the call out order table is out of whack. It doesn't correspond with the elimination order that is posted in the section directly above. should be an easy fix. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 10:01, 8 March 2010 (UTC)

source is University of Texas directory Jessicarpl (talk) 00:38, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

And how should that be cited, and is there a reason to believe this doesn't violate WP:BLP? It would be great to have a citable news article. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 15:50, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

In the episode when they first arrive in Spain at dinner with the male models everybody said that Jayda's model was saying he didn't like black girls which is simply not true. He was saying he didn't want to practice the lines when the got close to him and said "you want me to be like that?" and he said no, there was no mention of black girl anywhere yet everybody jumped up and called him racist. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 21:50, 4 August 2010 (UTC)

Shouldn't this be noted? So Cycle 15 could be noted as the 2nd cycle with sisters in the final cast. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 21:26, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
