Lebanese? Syrian?[edit]

I don't see the point of calling him "Lebanese", when he called himself "Syrian". I totally agree with you, however we would need sources which connect him to the designation "Syrian". For instance Salloum Mokarzel came from Mount Lebanon, however in 1926 (6 years after the creation of "Lebanon" and the nationalistic designation "Lebanese") he calls his new publication The Syrian World.
