BLP violation[edit]

This is classic WP:ATTACK material. It is not neutrally worded and it's main "aim" seems to be to slander. It is a clear WP:BLP; please do not restore. Nanobear (talk) 20:46, 29 September 2011 (UTC)

You deleted as unsourced. Now that it's sourced to Kommersant, the content can be edited to clean it up that section, which is reasonably well summarized despite the poor English. Or do you object to the source as well? Националист-патриот TALK 02:36, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
Two first phrases need additional sources (as a generalization). But the remained should stay. This is a high-profile story, and we have no reason to question Kommersant as RS. It tells:

Biophys (talk) 17:43, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

This was later refuted by the participants of the supposed incident. Currently, the number and arrogance of journalist hoaxes when they write about Russian army is simply unbelievable. GreyHood Talk 12:11, 6 October 2011 (UTC)
GreyHood, could you please provide a source for the refutation? (talk) 14:48, 5 February 2013 (UTC)

Current version of the article states "Serdyukov's career started to develop very successfully after the election of Vladimir Putin as Russian President in 2000" in the early career section. Is there evidence that there is connection between the two? All sources point to his marriage to Ulia Poxlebenina, daughter of Victor Zubkov, as a starting point of his career advancement. Article quality[edit]

This article is absolute garbage. You better off with translated Russian version. Serdyukov is very well known to be corrupt organizer of liquidation of military factories and state property, where English version of article sings the songs of appreciation as "reformer". The article is absolutely away from reality. (talk) 15:30, 11 March 2018 (UTC)
