Special table for thousands in NYC?[edit]

I don't understand this sentence introducing the history section: "In 1870, there were several thousand Freemasons in Manhattan, many of whom lunched at the Knickerbocker Cottage at a special table on the second floor." How big was that table? How "many" sat there? Did they take turns? Jojalozzo (talk) 12:10, 23 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
