Picture for Annie Lennox[edit]

Y’all know damn well what y’all were doing using the most unflattering picture of Mrs. Lennox you could find. Use a more fortunate picture of the singer please? METALLICADADDY (talk) 00:18, 20 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There are various images on Wikimedia Commons, and it cannot be a copyrighted image in the infobox. The current photo seems to be based on the principle of having an up to date image, but there are images showing her during her performing days. I had a think about cropping this image because it is quite a good and natural image.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 08:14, 20 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I second that! Nice quality image. The current photo has a grainy quality and she looks crazy. Thanks! METALLICADADDY (talk) 00:15, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
OK, it's done.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 15:25, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
God bless. METALLICADADDY (talk) 01:46, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Non sequitur sentence modifier[edit]

Appearing in the 1983 music video for "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" with orange cropped hair and wearing a man's business suit, the BBC states, "all eyes were on Annie Lennox, the singer whose powerful androgynous look defied the male gaze".

The BBC doesn't normally appear in music videos. But that's not really the problem. The problem is that this kind of sentence modifier turns off the brain, and then this kind of error isn't even noticed any longer because it's puff language to begin with. — MaxEnt 00:13, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Section on work in Africa doesn't mention work in Africa[edit]

There's a section Annie Lenox#2003–2007: Bare and work in Africa that doesn't actually mention her work in Africa. Either this should be removed from the section title, or some of the material in the section Annie Lenox#Public image on her work in Africa (which included her music and was thus indeed relevant to her career and not just her public image) should be moved to this section. (It was removed from this section in this anonymous edit in 2010.) Joriki (talk) 13:20, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

movie[edit]

Apparently, this person was in the 1985 film Revolution. Kdammers (talk) 00:05, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
