I do not have literature to support this entry but the person(s) who wrote this article is correct. Titers are expressed in ratios and the larger the dilution (i.e. the number to the right of the colon) the higher and thus "more positive" the titer. Anyone w/ references to make it official?

How widely used is mIU/ml

Hepatitis_B_vaccine#Effectiveness says anti-hepatitis B surface antigen (anti-Hbs) antibody levels are measured in mIU/ml. Do many antigen antibodies have IUs defined ? - Rod57 (talk) 14:30, 31 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
