This needs to be expanded to include usage samples, reports on reliability, programmers, external links, sample program output and more.

Definately not usage samples, and I'm not too keen on including sample program output, but a discussion on reliability would be a great addition. Also, ApacheBench is not specifically for the benchmarking of the Apache HTTP server -- it can bench any web server. I'll have a go at changing that now. Lambyuk 22:11, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

Why does ApacheBench not meet the general notability guidelines? I don't see any argumentation for the banner. Because the program is not delivered stand-alone by Apache? —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 15:10, 21 April 2010 (UTC)

I agree, I don't see why this doesn't meet the notability guidelines. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 19:54, 16 February 2011 (UTC)

I am the original author of ApacheBench, and I take issue with the comment that it was "Originally designed to test the Apache HTTP Server". It was originally written by me for my company (Zeus Technology) back in 1996. It was then licensed freely to the Apache community several years later. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 20:27, 19 May 2011 (UTC)
