Why do these rorganisms not have standard taxonomy (binomial species names, order/class/family etc.)? (talk) 18:10, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Cell structure and Ecology[edit]

The page currently states that "The ARMAN cells appear to penetrate the cell wall to the cytoplasm of the Thermoplasmatales cells." However, I am given to understand based on this press release that it is the other way around, and that the ARMAN cells are penetrated by the Thermoplasma. Can someone who actually knows about these cells please correct the page? Thank you. (talk) 16:01, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

I have corrected the text and added the reference. Axl ¤ [Talk] 23:38, 8 September 2014 (UTC)

Size limit[edit]

From "Cell structure and ecology", paragraph 1: "This has revealed that they are right at the cell size predicted to be the lower limit for life, 0.009 µm3 and 0.04 µm3 (NRC Steering group)." Why are two values given for the size limit? Axl ¤ [Talk] 23:26, 8 September 2014 (UTC)
