Edit[edit]

I have taken this article and updated and reworded most of the information. Make changes as you wish, but I believe this overall change is for the better. Rooks81215 16:29, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

revert[edit]

I reverted the edit made on the engine for the 950cc ATV. If something in the article is wrong it should be corrected in the article... do not add a statement immediately after that states the preceding statement is wrong.Primium mobile 01:32, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dates?[edit]

I've made most of the dates into internal links, because that's how I've seen it done in most other articles. But here, it looks cluttered, and I'm not sure it help the article at all. I'm not sure wrether to remove the links or not. Opinions? ~ (Wakandas black panther 21:17, 13 August 2007 (UTC))[reply]

history[edit]

It sure would be nice to have some history regarding early Cats in this article along with some tech data, etc. Anyone out there capable and willing of filling us on Cat's early history ?? H2RICK (talk) 04:47, 4 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, I'll add some information derived from books I have on the subject sometime this summer. The books I have are top-notch and I'm willing to put in the effort sometime this summer. -Apclass123 2 August 2010

Im going to try to edit the article and try and give less of an "advertisment look"Freedom Biscuit (talk) 21:03, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hetten Leave Date[edit]

Guys- do we have a definate date when Arctic Enterprises started? Ckruschke- do you have access to one of the Arctic Cat history books that the factory put out a few years ago? I think I still have a copy of Breaking Trail about Edgar Hetteen. I'll see if I can find anything in there over the weekend. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arcturusmine (talkcontribs) 17:59, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Arcturusmine - I honestly don't care either way, but the obit that is referenced on this page (that I tagged to the site a couple months ago) clearly says he LEFT Polaris in 1960 which is what this page is saying. I think the Wiki page you were looking at refers to him STARTING Artic Cat in 1961 - which is obviously different. Unless you have a better source, the way that the page is currently written, the date should be 1960. Either way, the Wiki page you were looking at is not an adequate "source" per Wikipedia policy (since it's content is also user-generated). Have a good weekend. Who's on first[edit]

Key people Founder: Edgar Hetteen Former CEO:Christopher A. Twomey, Current CEO:Claude Jordan, Roger Skime

I listened to Arctic's quarterly conference call this morning. Twomey is Chairman and CEO, and the recent severance of a CEO was mentioned, as well as possible search for new CEO and CFO. If a "Key people" field exists it ought to be accurate, but I'm not going to bother sorting it. —Tamfang (talk) 00:27, 24 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
