Clean-up[edit]

I have removed the sections on philosophy, writing, language and literature. These all have their own pages, and the texts on this page added nothing and were mostly unsourced anyway. Some things that are needed to get this page going:

  • a chronological review of the development of art in Mesopotamia (starting in the Epipaleolithic/Neolithic; there is no reason to limit art to the Bronze Age)
  • links to prominent examples of Mesopotamian art (Warka Vase, Standard of Ur etc)
  • reviews of trends/characteristics
  • discussion of various types of art objects (seals/sealings, statues, wall reliefs etc)
  • context of art (religious, imperial etc) --Zoeperkoe (talk) 21:55, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
