I have numerous issues with this article. It appears to be just a collection of slightly altered material from a promotion website. Using bullet points between sentences is not a good idea. The article claims assertive parenting is common sense, but at least to me it is not. The sources given do not indicate that there is plausible research behind the method, or that it is widely used. 79.194.37.132 (talk) 21:51, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

Needs rewrite[edit]

The article needs a full rewrite. Just one example, the weaknesses are asserted with no citations. Normally something like that might be listed as criticisms, as the evaluation of them as being weaknesses should have some support, not just stated as though it is fact. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.155.255.251 (talk) 12:29, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
