What is actually done[edit]

It's one thing to put down what laws and other regulations say, but there needs to be discussion about what's actually done to help airline passengers with disabilities. Tyrekecorrea (talk) 01:54, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Tyrekecorrea if you can find such information in reliable sources you are more than welcome to add it to the article. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 06:13, 19 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

EU Compensation for Damaged Wheelchairs[edit]

I've corrected the claim that the EU requires full compensation for damage or loss, EU 1107/2000 actually states "the passenger to whom the equipment belongs shall be compensated, in accordance with rules of international, Community and national law." Which means in the absence of local legislation the Montreal Convention applies, which limits compensation to around $1,500 dollars (specifically 1,131 SDRs), far less than the value of many wheelchairs. The Montreal Convention article discusses the situation in more detail. 86.8.177.103 (talk) 14:27, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
