Orion, Unarius[edit]

Both Orions are completely separate planets, FYI. Abyssal (talk) 19:07, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

Proposed Deletion[edit]

I have removed the {{dated prod}} tag added by User:Twinsday. As a third party, I do not believe that this page should be deleted for the reasons listed and as such I "otherwise object to deletion for any reason". The User:Twinsday reasons listed are:

  • not notable subject - If a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is "presumed" to satisfy the inclusion criteria for a stand-alone article. The items on this page have "received significant coverage in reliable sources". Some examples are listed in the "References", others can easily be found by doing a Google search of the various items on the list. Before I even found this page, I have heard of several of these subjects.
  • depends mostly on one source - The page appears to have 5 sources already. I would suspect that, give a very short amount of time, additional sources can be found. I know of at least one, that I will add myself. There may be confusion due to the use of the same inline citation a number of time. However, this should be a reason of improvement not deletion.
  • synthesis - I have to admit, I just don't understand how this one applies, so if User:Twinsday, still feels that this article needs to be deleted for this reason, an entry using {{AfD}} needs to be used, so it can be explained.

As the article's primary contributor I second the motion to keep. I feel that not only is tagging the article for original synthesis inaccurate, but contradicts the other tag alleging excessive dependence on a single source. I do have about 5 or 6 other scholarly sources that could be gradually consulted. Other users may add more over time. I'm also going to substantially revamp the article, moving the information on Unarian planets to a dedicated article and fleshing out the rest. Abyssal (talk) 19:27, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

Clarion[edit]

For worlds supposed by "contactees" where is Clarion, the planet that 1950s contactee Truman Bethurun claims to have met aliens from? Also, there are other contactees, from the 1980s, who claim to have been contacted by residents of Clarion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.164.104.235 (talk) 18:57, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
