Good call on the changing of borough to district. That was a silly mistake to make. More the fool me I suppose. Ahh. Good times. Also, I am not able to use Wikipedia properly. Sort that out please. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.37.40.78 (talk • contribs).

Part of Redditch or separate village?[edit]

As far as I can tell, Astwood Bank is formerly a village, but is now a district of the town of Redditch, like Headless Cross, Crabbs Cross etc. To claim that it is a separate village needs a citation.

Please also note the sign saying "Welcome to Redditch" located on the A441 to the southern end of Astwood Bank at 52.252466 N 1.93704 W. http://goo.gl/maps/YvIQd for StreetView.
