Description of car as "small".[edit]

Not sure that the Maxi should be described as small. In the Leyland range the Mini was small, the Maxi more in the family size. Is there any Wikipedia standard for size descriptions of cars? Ardmacha (talk) 04:21, 27 April 2015 (UTC)

Dropping of Austin name?[edit]

The Austin name was used until the late 80s, the Metro was an Austin and the cars that replaced the Maxi, Ital and Ambassador were the Austin Maestro/Montego.

Wasn't until the late 80s that Austin was dropped and the Metro, Maestro and Montego became 'Marqueless', with a Rover shaped badge. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.144.76.131 (talk) 15:26, 3 November 2015 (UTC)
