[edit]

Both this article and Avatar 5 should be deleted as it has been confirmed that these films are not shooting right now. They will begin filming after Avatar 3 comes out.

@Broncosman12: Shouldn't they be redirects then? Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 13:29, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. This page MUST BE subject to speedy deletion per WP:CRYSTALBALL 100.16.196.59 (talk) 16:54, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Nope. This conversation is from 2017. Since then the film has started production. -- ZooBlazer 17:35, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

My bad. I didn't exactly know how to do that and where they should redirect to. Thanks.Broncosman12 (talk) 13:31, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Young cast

[edit]

Should we really be listing the youngsters here in the cast, e.g., Tuk? The sources provided seem to only provide support that these characters will appear in some of the sequels, but there is no source saying that they will appear in all the sequels or in this particular one. We already know from Way of Water (SPOILER ALERT) that one of the children dies prior to this film. so he may not be in this film (and isn't listed, although it is possible that he could appear via flashback or dream. (END SPOILER). I have less of an issue with the cast of Avatar 3, since although it is possible that something may happen off screen between Way of Water and Avatar 3 that is less likely. IMDB does list these children as being in the cast for Avatar 4, but we typically don't use IMDB as a source for such things unless it states that the cast has been confirmed. @Rlendog: I just went through all of the sources in the cast section, and the only cast members actually confirmed for Avatar 4 are: Worthington, Saldaña, Lang, Curtis, Pounder, Ribisi, Thewlis, and Chaplin. Everyone else needs to go. All we can say about the child actors is Additionally, several child actors who appeared in prior Avatar films are expected to reprise their roles, per this source. Update: I found this source confirming Champion for Avatar 4. Couldn't find anything on the other kids. InfiniteNexus (talk) 01:37, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I took care of it. I deleted Weaver, although I would be really surprised if she was not in all the sequels. But she can be re-added when a reliable source confirms.Rlendog (talk) 02:36, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. InfiniteNexus (talk) 04:03, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I added back Weaver because there are sources saying that she filmed 4, even if they don't say she plays Kiri. Feel free to delete if you like, but I think it is a reasonable enough assumption that she is playing Kiri in 4. Rlendog (talk) 20:25, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That's fine with me, unless evidence emerges at a later time that calls this into question. InfiniteNexus (talk) 22:36, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
