Untitled[edit]

Please do not delete this page. The Ayia Napa sea monster is a rumour and there exists no evidence of its existance but it is a local legend. A brief search through Google will reveal that some hotels in Ayia Napa boast of their closeness to the vicinity where the monster is reputed to live, along with car hire companies recomending a trip to Cape Grecko on the hope of spotting it etc. Sure it is not as well known as 'Nessie' but surely that doesnt constitute a reason to delete the article, and infact the acceptance that it might exist.

to talk about a link between any Sea MOnster and Kouris Dam is absolutley Stupid, bearing in mind Kouris Dame is modern artificial Fresh water lake with no link to the sea barring a mostly dry river: the alleged monster (of which there is no real evidence)at Kouris Dam is thought if anything to be a crocodile/Alligator type creature kept as a pet that was dumped. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.7.213.164 (talk) 04:25, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
