Question[edit]

Does the name "North of the River" refer to the Red River? It seems that there are three medium-sized rivers and one small one in between the Red River and this city. Badagnani 19:55, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rubbish[edit]

A third of Bac Giang is dedicated to agriculture? It's all one large paddy field with Bac Giang town and a few villages dotted about. What else would fill the delta's land? Much of it is flooded for much of the year. It would be useful have info in this article from someone who has at least been there. If I can find good sources for any hard stats and refs for Bac Giang (a God forsaken hole) I will post some.

I have removed the line in question because it has no refs and I cannot at all at all see how it could be true. I can now see why geography articles create so much controversy on Wikip. If you haven't lived in a place the posted info is sure to sound non-sensical at best. Spanglej (talk) 16:20, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
