Points re:

The World Today is a current affairs news program produced by the BBC for both television and radio. It is broadcast daily on BBC One, BBC News 24, BBC World on television and BBC World Service and BBC Radio 4.

I doubt there is any direct connection between BBC World Service's radio programme "The World Today" and BBC News 24's television sequence of the same name – apart, of course, from their both being produced by BBC News.
As to either programme being broadcast by BBC One television and BBC Radio 4, this happens only insofar as these two channels relay BBC World Service and BBC News 24 respectively during their otherwise off-air hours.
There does not appear to be any programme called "The World Today" on BBC World television.

I've hidden away the bit on the radio station and cleared up a bit. They don't seem to be directly related - when you watch TWT on TV, there's no mention of TWT radio show and indeed they're not all available in the same areas as each other. --GoAround 19:31, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The World Today is simulcast on BBC News 24 and BBC World at 05:00 GMT weekdays. Since News 24 is also simulcast on BBC One at this time, it is also viewable via that channel for those without digital television. Wikiwoohoo 13:59, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Viewing TWT in the UK[edit]

I suggest you place here that viewers in the UK are able to view the entire programme without any commercial breaks. From what I know, while BBC World viewers go to commercial breaks, BBC One and News 24 viewers are usually treated to a quick summary of UK News (in the World Business Report portion, UK Business News is also presented) since BBC's domestic channels don't allow for commercials. I just need to know who is presenting the UK news summary whether it is the TWT presenter or if they crossover to a News 24 presenter.
